Creating a New Economy
I watched a sales training video the other day, and it focused on creating a new economy. The basic argument is that it is up to us to create our own business, find our prospects, bring in sales. At first, I had to chew on it, digest the information and then it dawned on me yes, it’s up to us to create business and a new economy. As citizens in an entrepreneurial and pioneering country, is it our civic duty to move ahead and create businesses, new partnerships, products and innovations? Or should we wait for our government to legislate innovation? If we merely wait for legislation to come tell us how to create a new product, innovate or new partnerships, then it will be too late and other countries, companies, alliances will pass us by. Therefore, I firmly believe, it is our civic duty to do so and lead legislation through the process to enable us to foster entrepreneurship. Without entrepreneurship and innovation, how will we move forward to heal our economy and country?
I am honored to be among my peers at MCIT and ACTiVATE who are motivated to innovate new businesses and take ideas and turn them into deliverables.
