Women in Places of Power?

Women, do you see yourself leading an organization, being on a Board of Directors, possibly being President someday? In our society, women have an important role to play in leadership positions and contributions to make. Everyone benefits greatly on all levels if women are peppered throughout various points and hubs within our organizations, companies and parts of our society. Over at InPower Women, Dana Theus, a blogger I’ve been following, covers what women are really good at and why we are a desired part of any organization, government entity, etc. Dana covers why women work well with others and how it can improve business.

Ladies, being that we were all trained in the ACTiVATE class to become CEOs, who will you place in your organization and how diverse will this pool will be? One thing we had to do early in the class was to identify every resource from family to friends and even distant acquaintances…people that can help us on our path to success, be it a small or large piece. I think that this will be something we will have to visit time and again throughout various stages of growth of our companies. Do we have the right people on the bus, who are they, and why.
